Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif's film, Tiger 3, which concluded
its theatrical run with an impressive worldwide collection of Rs 464 crore, has
now made its digital debut on OTT. Yash Raj Films announced the film's
availability on Prime Video through their social media platforms, stating,
"Action Mode: Activated. #Tiger3OnPrime, watch now only on
@PrimeVideoIN."
Directed by Maneesh Sharma, Tiger 3 was released on Diwali
2023 and is the fifth installment in the production house's spy universe.
Salman Khan shared the news on his social media, expressing excitement with the
caption, "Locked, loaded and ready! Aa raha hai Tiger…"
The movie revolves around Tiger (Salman Khan), his partner
Zoya (Katrina Kaif), and a terrorist, Aatish Rehman (Emraan Hashmi), with a
special appearance by Shah Rukh Khan. Tiger 3 achieved a box office collection
of Rs 339.50 in India and Rs 464 globally. Despite a strong start during the
holiday, mixed word-of-mouth and the cricket World Cup impacted its chances of
reaching the Rs 500 crore global mark.
Tiger 3 emerged as the most successful film for director
Maneesh Sharma and actor Emraan Hashmi while securing the second-highest spot
for Katrina Kaif globally. Additionally, it claimed the fourth position in
terms of worldwide earnings for Salman Khan, as reported by Sacnilk.
Expressing his gratitude for the film's success, Salman Khan
thanked his fans and marveled at the widespread entertainment provided by his
beloved characters, Prem and Tiger, during Diwali. He reflected on his acting
role, aiming to create lasting memories through his cinematic endeavors and
feeling fortunate for the audience's love.
