Hyderabad: The schedule for Common Entrance Tests (CETs) for admission to various professional courses is expected to be revealed this week. The Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) has put forth the proposed CETs schedule, pending approval from the State government.
The council has requested universities to nominate three individuals for convener appointments in various entrance tests. These conveners will oversee the entrance exams.
The entrance tests for engineering, agriculture, and pharmacy are anticipated to start on May 10, with agriculture and pharmacy tests on May 10 and 11, and engineering tests on May 12.
This year, TS EAMCET may be renamed TS EAP CET or EPA CET due to changes after the introduction of NEET UG. Although the name 'Medicine' has persisted in EAMCET, the TSCHE has proposed a modification pending government approval.
The alteration in the name won't affect the admission process for various professional courses. Admissions to engineering, agriculture, and pharmacy programs will remain unchanged. The scores from TS EAP CET or EPA CET will also be utilized for BSc Nursing admissions.
