Hyderabad will experience scheduled power interruptions for maintenance purposes over the next two months.

The Telangana State Southern Power Distribution Company Limited has provided information about scheduled power outages for the maintenance of its distribution system in Hyderabad over the next two months. The planned interruptions will vary in duration, ranging from 15 minutes to two hours.

In preparation for the anticipated high demand during the summer, TSSPDCL aims to conduct maintenance and repair work on power lines and substations within the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) limits. The field-level staff has received instructions to complete the maintenance tasks within a timeframe of 15 minutes to 2 hours, from January 17, 2024, to February 10, 2024, excluding Sundays and festivals, as stated in a press release by the power utility.
